thanks for saying that vp about the model i kind of like it too

You're welcome Coa! - I have an idea that may help you, something I learned about my models in coppercube recently, but not sure if it will work or not - so I'm gonna purchase this model and test it. If my idea works, I'll let you know.

OK cool - it does work!

Basically if you apply "vertex shading" before exporting, coppercube will then smooth the dynamic lighting automatically using the vertex data of the material - without affecting any of the model geometry, polygon-count or UV. Works on static and animated models.

Thanks VP!!

Nice!

how do you apply vertex shading in blender ?

You're welcome COA!

I don't know how to use blender but the way I do this in UltimateUnwrap3DPro is:

1-Import model.
2- Select all vertices (ctrl+a).
3- Select "Weld Model" (I used default values).
4- Export model as fbx.

When you import to Coppercube, you then need to apply "dynamic" lighting in the model's "material properties" and add a directional light to the scene.

You can then adjust "ambient light"setting (+10 luminance) in the Root Scene Node's "Colour" attributes, to increase brightness slightly - so the shading isn't too dark.

When I "weld" a model, it automatically calculates the vertex shading and removes the jagged faces.
In blender, I see there is a "Weld" modifier - hopefully it will do the same thing?
